Non-accessible content

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of the ECDC portal, we are aware of some limitations, which we are working to fix. Below is a description of known limitations and potential solutions. Please contact us if you encounter an issue not listed below.

Known limitations for the ECDC websites:

  1. Many pages and document attachments are not written in plain English.
  2. The mobile menu is not accessible.
  3. There are issues navigating the menu for the European Vaccination Information Portal, ESCAIDE, and European Antibiotic Awareness Day websites with a keyboard.
  4. Some graphs, maps and charts are not accessible as they do not contain appropriate text alternatives, and convey information through colours.
  5. Some links are not correctly identified.
