Non-accessible content
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of the ECDC portal, we are aware of some limitations, which we are working to fix. Below is a description of known limitations and potential solutions. Please contact us if you encounter an issue not listed below.
Known limitations for the ECDC websites:
- Many pages and document attachments are not written in plain English.
- The mobile menu is not accessible.
- There are issues navigating the menu for the European Vaccination Information Portal, ESCAIDE, and European Antibiotic Awareness Day websites with a keyboard.
- Some graphs, maps and charts are not accessible as they do not contain appropriate text alternatives, and convey information through colours.
- Some links are not correctly identified.
